Akothee given a heroic reception after bagging music award – PHOTOS

Musician Akothee jetted back into the country over the weekend to a hero’s welcome at the Jomo Kenyatta airport by fans and her family.

The welcoming party included the singer’s dad and mum together with her daughters. A white limousine was in tow to ferry her.

Akothee was recently crowned the Best Female Artiste in East Africa 2015 in the Africa Muzik Magazine Awards (Afrimma) that took place in Texas, United States

She separately won the Best Female Artiste East Africa at the Africa entertainment awards also held in the United States.

The welcoming party left JKIA and headed to the city Centre at Ranalo Restaurant and later to Sankara hotel
